I've been active in scientific outreach since early in my PhD, and have continued to organize/participate in many initiatives during my postdoctoral work. I am excited to expand my activities as a postdoc at University of Utah, through the Genetic Science Learning Center and beyond.

- Girl Scout Badge Day (in conjunction with grad students/faculty at the University of Miami and the Fairchild)
- Creation of laboratory experiences for undergraduate students (University of Miami, Oregon State University)
- Laboratory techniques workshops (in conjunction with OSU LSAMP; part of NSF PRFB activities)
- OSU Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) BRIDGE Day (in conjunction with OSU College of Science;
part of NSF PRFB activities) - Participating as a mentor in the Genomics Summer Research for Minorities (GSRM) program at the University of Utah
